Below is a picture of Yvonne van den Brink sitting in a "Hawker Tempest". It was built by her father and won the first price on the day when they celebrated their freedom. The picture was taken on the 5th of May 1980 in Werkhoven, Netherlands. On the plane it was written: "Tempest V, fought for our freedom".

They couldn't store the plane so they had to brake it down. They got a lot of compliments on that day and many weeks afterwards. It was one of the reasons why Yvonne got an invitation to be present at a visit of Prins Bernhard!
