Flying Officer Raymond Jack "Dan" Danzey was born on 11 November 1921 in Auckland, New Zealand. He worked as a storekeeper before joining RNZAF on 30 November 1941.
He served with No. 486 Squadron from June 1943 to March 1945. He was awarded a DFC on 8 May 1945.
Danzey died on 9 November 1998 in Wellington, New Zealand.
